Metro Health Clinics and pop-up vaccination sites are offering the updated (bivalent) COVID-19 boosters to those ages 6 months and up.
Bivalent booster vaccination eligibility
Updated boosters are especially important for people ages 65 and up, whose hospitalizations are as high during Omicron as they were during the Delta wave. For all other age groups, hospitalizations have dropped significantly.
Even if you’re not hospitalized, infections can make you feel lousy, disrupt your plans, and raise your chances of long COVID, so we still recommend caution indoors when community COVID levels are «High.»
